INNOVATIVE :
My purpose is to foster a creative and thought provoking forum which facilitates a financially expedient, fair and rational resolution of your dispute. As I tell my students at Crummer Graduate School, this is not the pursuit of the validation of one’s positions, but rather achieving an agreement based on a mutual understanding of each party’s interests and a proper allocation of those interests amongst the participants.
PERSISTENT :
I will not shy from asking probative questions or offering up creative solutions. I simply don’t give up. This approcah was forged over 30 year legal career enhanced by 15 years as a senior executive with a well known public company. The combination of careers provides this mediator a rare perspective - the perspective of a party to a dispute as well as the perspective of their attorney. I understand from first hand experience the mind set of a litigant and the enormous financial and emotional burden litigation imposes. I’ve had “skin in the game”
EXPERIENCED :
My broad professional journey has afforded me substantive experience in multiple areas and I have mediated, represented parties and managed disputes involving: Commercial Transactions* Employment issues including discrimination/harassment and non-competes* Contract disputes* Partnership disputes and dissolutions* Family businesses* Banks and Borrowers* Construction* Real Estate* Negotiation and enforcement of Supplier Contracts* Zoning and Land use* Intellectual Property* Mergers and Acquisition of corporate entities* Family Law (all issues)* Personal Injury Claims (including medical malpractice and wrongful death)* Product liability* Insurance coverage disputes* Condominium* Franchise disputes* Probate* Securities*
